It's official. According to NCCI, the benefits of the 2003 Florida WC reform are over. As mentioned on Lexis-Nexis' Workers' Comp Law Center, NCCI posted its State Advisory Forum for Florida where it declares that the beneficial effects of SB 50A, 2003 Reforms to workers' compensation have ended. NCCI Reports that there has been little improvement in Calendar-Accident Year 2008 experience, the decline in claim frequency has declined or slowed, the recession has impacted Florida, and statewide premium is down for a second year in a row.
